Dorothy (Dorcie) Flood, BSN, RN serves as the Clinical Coding Nurse Manager within the Candello division. She supports a team of specialists who analyze medical malpractice claims and associated data to identify areas of risk and opportunities for improvement initiatives utilizing Candello’s proprietary Clinical Coding Taxonomy. Dorcie has worked in a variety of clinical settings including inpatient Med/Surg, ICU, Obstetrics and Research over her career. She worked in Healthcare Quality, Patient Safety, Risk and Patient Relations, and most recently as director at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Dorcie earned her BS in nursing from Boston College.
