Penny Greenberg, MS, RN is the director of operations for Candello, where she provides leadership and support for the Candello team. She has a wealth of clinical, organizational and patient safety expertise that she lends to this new operations role. Penny is a labor and delivery nurse by training, and serves in a consulting capacity to ACOG. Previously, Penny was the Executive Vice President of Operations and Chief Nursing Officer at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham, with deep expertise in healthcare quality improvement, standards of care, and teamwork behaviors. She is an experienced educator and has presented widely to audiences on a broad range of patient safety topics with particular emphasis on teaming and culture change. She received her bachelors of science in nursing degree from the University of Massachusetts and her master’s degree from Northeastern University.
