Ann Doherty serves as a Clinical Taxonomy Specialist within the Candello division. In this role, Ann reviews and analyzes medical malpractice claims, identifies areas of risk and opportunities for improvement initiatives, creates comprehensive clinical narratives and assigns applicable code sets using Candello’s proprietary Clinical Coding Taxonomy.

In addition to her patient safety experience, Ann has nursing experience in the areas of Nurse Consulting, Care Coordination and Case Management. She received a bachelor’s degree from Simmons University, and an RN from New England Baptist Hospital School of Nursing. She also holds a CCM certification.

What gets me excited about my work?
I love opportunity to collaborate with such bright and dedicated people. It is a very supportive environment and because of that we are able to creatively find solutions to the challenges we face.
