Our Meetings

Over the course of the year, the Candello community gathers more than 30 times in various groups, typically through virtual meetings.

  • Member Business Calls – Leaders from Candello member organizations meet every other month to discuss business issues related to the data, tools, or what they are discovering through using them.
  • Underwriting Study Group – Underwriting professionals from within the Candello membership meet several times a year to discuss trends and challenges affecting coverage decisions, like telemedicine or medical marijuana.
  • Claims Study Group – Claims professionals from member organizations meet regularly to discuss common challenges, like mock trials, defendant support, nuclear verdicts—often hearing from national thought leaders on the topic.
  • Analytics Study Group – Analysts or those responsible for analytics from within member organizations participate in quarterly working sessions to help master tools, share new models, or ideate on analytical trends.
  • Patient Safety Study Group – Patient safety professionals from member organizations meet several times a year to discuss trends, challenges, and share their perspective on timely issues to advance patient safety efforts, such as hospital at home, cybersecurity, and workplace violence.
  • Taxonomy Workgroup – The evolution of the Candello taxonomy, which is the shared data language the DNA of the data, is determined through this group comprised of Candello members and CRICO experts.
  • Clinical Taxonomy Specialist Collaborative – Once a year, those critical professionals who code the cases that are submitted to the Candello database, gather in Boston for education, training, discussion, and networking.
  • Candello Member Summit – Once a year, leaders from Candello member organizations have gathered in Boston for a two-day education and planning meeting. While COVID has prevented this event from happening for two years, plans are underway to gather once again.

Leaders, claims professionals, risk managers, underwriters, and analysts from Candello members have open access to these convenings, including materials and recordings of meetings they may miss.

Virtual meetings and events are here to stay. You can have your own private, branded, secure, web and mobile community to host, convene and communicate with your internal and external stakeholders—even your insureds. Candello members use private communities to communicate with and engage their stakeholders with data, insights and learnings to help influence how they behave and practice, based on evidence.

  • It looks, feels like, and is your own branded environment.
  • Because it’s modular, you can configure it to your liking.
  • It is connected to the Candello national community, so members of your private community have access to Candello content.

Pass the benefits of Candello membership to your insureds, providers, and staff in a secure environment with full control that’s already been built—and, best of all, it requires no IT resources on your end.
